Who can register?
Anyone interested in developing clinical and professional skills in wound care and related healthcare topics is welcome to register. Our programmes are designed for registered healthcare professionals at various levels — from those beginning their journey in wound care to experienced practitioners who want to deepen their knowledge and competence.
Do I need prior wound care experience to enrol?
No prior specialist wound care experience is required. Our courses are structured to accommodate both practitioners who are new to wound care and those with existing clinical experience who wish to formalise, refresh, or deepen their knowledge. Clinical context and practical relevance are built in throughout the programme.
Are the courses accredited?
Yes. Eloquent Learning Academy’s courses are CPD-accredited and recognised by relevant institutions, underscoring our commitment to high standards in professional development and continuing education.
Are assessments included in the course?
Yes. Our courses include assessments designed to reinforce learning and evaluate understanding of both theoretical and practical components. Successful completion of assessments is required to obtain course certificates and applicable CPD credits.
What do the courses cover?
Our courses combine evidence-based theoretical content with practical application. They cover core concepts of wound care management, clinical decision-making, and hands-on skills designed to be relevant in real-world healthcare settings. We also include interactive learning elements and practical sessions where appropriate.
How does payment work?
We offer secure and convenient online payment options for course registrations and fees. During the registration process, you will see an online payment portal powered by Payfast, a trusted South African online payment gateway. You can complete your payment using any of the supported Payfast methods — including:
Credit or debit card payments (Visa, Mastercard, and other major card providers)
Instant EFT (real-time bank transfer with immediate verification)
Mobile and QR-based payments such as SnapScan or Zapper
Buy now, pay later or alternative options, like mobicred (see details in question below)
All transactions are processed securely, and payments are received in South African Rand (ZAR). You will be asked to finalise payment before your access to course materials or in-person training is confirmed. If you need assistance with payment methods or have specific invoicing requirements, our administration team is happy to help.
What is the “Buy Now, Pay Later” payment option?
The Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) option allows eligible learners to register for a course immediately and spread the cost over multiple instalments, rather than paying the full amount upfront. This option is facilitated through Payfast-supported providers (such as mobicred) and is subject to the provider’s approval process and terms.
Using BNPL is similar to paying a deposit or down payment, with the remaining balance settled over an agreed repayment period. Once payment approval is confirmed by the provider, your course registration and access to learning materials or contact sessions are secured.
Please note that:
BNPL approval, instalment amounts, and repayment terms are managed entirely by the payment provider.
Additional fees or interest may apply, depending on the provider’s terms.
Eloquent Learning does not offer in-house credit or manage repayment schedules.

Where are the in-contact courses presented?
Our in-person classroom training sessions are held Pretoria, South Africa. The venue may vary depending on the number of attendees and will be communicated well in advance.
These sessions provide face-to-face engagement with instructors and opportunities for hands-on learning.
What is the difference between the online and the in-person contact sessions?
Online Courses:
Delivered through our virtual learning platform for remote access.
Designed for flexible, self-paced study within the course schedule.
Focus on theoretical learning, case studies, and interactive digital content.
In-Person Contact Sessions:
Conducted in a classroom setting with direct interaction between facilitators and participants.
Emphasise practical, hands-on skills and real-time feedback.
Facilitate networking, discussion, and immediate support from instructors.
Will I receive a certificate after completing the course?
Yes. Upon successful completion of the course requirements and assessments, learners receive an official certificate of completion. Where applicable, CPD points are awarded in line with the relevant accrediting body’s requirements.
How do I get my certificate?
Certificates are made availabe for download as PDFs once all module activities, including evaluations surveys and final quizzes, are marked as complete.
Most courses require a minimum score of 70% on final assessment.
What should I bring to the in-person contact sessions?
Learners will be informed in advance if any specific materials or equipment are required. In most cases, all essential training materials are provided. Comfortable attire suitable for practical demonstrations is recommended.
Is accommodation or travel included in the course fee?
No. Course fees do not include accommodation or travel. Learners attending in-person sessions are responsible for arranging their own accommodation and transport.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Eloquent Learning administration team.
Online courses: Once access to online course materials has been granted, cancellations and refunds are generally not permitted, as digital content is immediately available.
In-person contact sessions:
Cancellations are accepted in writing without penalty up to 14 (fourteen) calendar days befor a course begins.
Cancellations made less than 14 (fourteen) calendar days prior may incur a 50% fee, non-attendance may result in forfeiture of fees, as venues, facilitators, and resources are reserved in advance.
We recommend contacting our administration team as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule, as we aim to be fair while maintaining the quality and sustainability of our programmes.
